Steven Bastien, representing Tracksmith, won the men's heptathlon title with 6,012 points at the USATF Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Bastien entered the second day trailing leader Will Daniels by a 40-point margin, but ran 8.32 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, cleared 16-2.75 (4.95m) in the pole vault and ran 2:44.50 to win the 1,000 meters to rally from a 33-point deficit and secure the championship.
