Taylor Manett was selected for the Team USA Women's Junior squad that will compete in the Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country Challenge on Jan. 5 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The 13th-ranked Wolverines' top-five runners each crossed the finish line within a 24-second split to record 518 points as U-M came in 23rd at the NCAA Championships.

No. 6 U-M earned a spot on the podium at the NCAA Championships, placing fourth for the program's best finish since 2006 (3rd) and fifth top-10 national finish in the past 10 seasons.

U-M will compete in a dual meet against Michigan State on Jan. 26 on the campus of Grand Valley State, the first head-to-head competition ever for the women with MSU and first for the men indoors since 1976.

Head coach Mike McGuire earned his second straight Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year award, and seventh all-time, after leading Michigan to its second regional title in as many years.

No. 12 U-M took second place at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships. All five scorers finished in the top 25 to earn All-Great Lakes Region honors.
