For senior captains Rebecca Addison, Lindsey Hilton and Jillian Smith, four years of hard work and perseverance paid off when the Wolverines won the Big Ten Championships last Sunday (Oct. 28).

Head coach Mike McGuire and Shannon Osika received Big Ten Coach of the Year and Freshman of the Year, respectively, after leading U-M to the 2012 Big Ten title.

The 11th-ranked Wolverines finished runner-up at the Big Ten Championships behind All-Big Ten performances from Dan Lowry (5th), Morsi Rayyan (13th) and Mark Beams (14th).
