The eighth-ranked Wolverines head south for the Greater Louisville Classic, scheduled for this Saturday (Oct. 3). The 5,000-meter race will feature 12 U-M athletes and will be run at the site of the NCAA Championships.

Coming off the heels of a team win and a personal-best 16:43.4 to take the individual title at Vanderbilt's Commodore Classic 5K, Erin Finn brought home the conference's Athlete of the Week award.

The No. 12-ranked Wolverines placed all five scoring runners in the top 20, including Erin Finn, who won the individual title (16:43.4), to help U-M win the team crown at Vanderbilt's 5,000-meter Commodore Classic.

The Maize and Blue travels south for Vanderbilt's Commodore Classic this Saturday (Sept. 18, 10 a.m.) for a 5,000-meter race that will feature 22 U-M entries.

The Wolverines opened the 2015 season with the EMU Celebration at nearby Eagle Crest Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Michigan, with Erin Finn crossing the finish line first at 16:54.9 as an unattached athlete.

The 12th-ranked Wolverines are scheduled to return from camp at the U-M Biostation with just a few days to spare before the 2015 campaign gets under way with the EMU Celebration this Saturday (Sept. 5) in nearby Ypsilanti.

In the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division 1 National Cross Country Coaches' Preseason Poll, the Maize and Blue came in at No. 12.

The Maize and Blue squad is in Pellston, Michigan, for preseason camp at the U-M Bio Station. Fifth-year senior Devon Hoppe provided updates from up north, on Sunday (Aug. 30), and senior Shannon Osika adds more on Tuesday (Sept. 1).

Under 24th-year head coach Mike McGuire, the Wolverines kick off the season with a healthy squad at the EMU Open on Sept. 5.
