Morsi Rayyan clocked 30:08.83 to finish 10th place in the 10,000m run to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships next month (June 10-13) in Eugene, Oregon.

The Maize and Blue will be represented by a group of 10 Wolverines this week at the NCAA East Regional Preliminary Rounds (May 28-30) hosted by the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.

U-M closed out a solid weekend at the outdoor conference championships, highlighted by Cody Riffle (3rd) re-breaking his own shot put record and an impressive 2-3 finish in the 5,000m run from Mason Ferlic and Ben Flanagan.

Mason Ferlic brought U-M its first title of the weekend, and the second conference crown of his career, with a win in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on day two of the Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
