All-region performances by Mason Ferlic (7th), Ben Flanagan (10th) and August Pappas (18th) helped the Wolverines take third place at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships.

The 12th-ranked Maize and Blue will return to Madison, Wisconsin, this Friday (Nov. 14) to continue the championship season with the NCAA Great Lakes Regional at the Badgers' Zimmer Championship Course.

Mason Ferlic (4th), Ben Flanagan (13th) and Tony Smoragiewicz (15th) crossed among the top 15 runners to help the 14th-ranked Maize & Blue take runner-up at the Big Ten Championships.

The 14th-ranked Maize and Blue will return to Iowa City, Iowa, this Sunday (Nov. 2) to begin the championship season with the Big Ten Championships at the Hawkeyes' Ashton Cross Country Course.

After a runner-up finish at the EMU Fall Classic last weekend, George Kelly was recognized at the Big Ten Athlete of the Week.

George Kelly finished less than two seconds out of first place to lead a quintet of Wolverines in the top 11, as the Wolverines wrapped up their regular-season slate at the non-scoring EMU Classic.
