Jeryne Fish (Bowie, Maryland), Lauren VanVlierbergen (Algonquin, Illinois) and Maegan McCarthy (Rockford, Michigan) each signed National Letters of Intent to compete for Michigan starting in the 2015-16 season.

Lauren Van Vlierbergen, a signee from Harry D. Jacobs High School in Algonquin, Illinois, was named the Wendy's High School Heisman female award winner at a ceremony in New York City as part of Heisman Week.

Kristine Westerby (1994), Tania Longe (1998), April Phillips (2003), Lindsey Gallo (2005) and Bettie Wade (2009) will make up the Women's Track Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

Michigan announced its women's track and field schedule for the 2015 season, which will begin with the Bob Eubanks Invitational on Jan. 10 and conclude with the NCAA Outdoor Championships June 10-13.

Assistant coach Sandy Fowler has been selected to represent Team USA as an assistant coach for men's and women's throws at the Pan-American Sports Festival from Aug. 15-16 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Erin Finn won the 5,000-meter run as a member of Team USA at the NACAC U-23 Championships, setting a new meet record of 16:06.26.
