Savannah Sutherland, a sophomore at Michigan representing Canada, won the women's 400-meter hurdles title in a lifetime-best 54.45 seconds at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. Sutherland became the first female athlete from Michigan to secure the 400 hurdles crown and she also became the first Canadian to win the 400 hurdles championship since Arizona's Sage Watson in 2017. Sutherland also equaled the No. 11 competitor in collegiate history. More videos
