Senior mid-distance runner Danielle Pfeifer goes 'In the Spotlight' this week as the Wolverines travel to Kent State University to compete in Saturday's (Jan. 16) Doug Raymond Invitational.

Michigan will compete at Kent State University's Doug Raymond Invite on Saturday (Jan. 16). Events will begin at 10 a.m. at the Golden Flashes' Kent State University Field House.

Erin Finn won the 3,000-meter race by more than 30 seconds and was rewarded Wednesday with the Big Ten Women's Track Athlete of the Week award.

Devon Hoppe, Aaron Howell and Cindy Ofili were named tri-captains for the 2016 Maize & Blue squad.

No. 14 Michigan tallied 16 top-three finishes, including eight event wins, and seven collegiate bests at the Hillsdale Winter Opener.

Michigan will continue its indoor schedule with the Hillsdale Winter Opener, hosted by Hillsdale College this Saturday (Jan. 9).

Sprinter/hurdler Cindy Ofili was named to the watch list for the Bowerman Award, which is given to the top collegiate athlete in the sport of NCAA track and field.

Michigan welcomed Micaela DeGenero (mid-distance), Julia Hall (sprints/hurdles), Jade Harrison (sprints), Courtney Jacobsen (throws), Meagan Malloy (throws) and Madeline Trevisan (distance) as NLI signees Tuesday.
